Beat marketing “scumbags”

Read Time:

We all know them.

Your Facebook feed contains them.

They’re in your phone.

They’re in your mailbox.

They browse the internet after you.

While you’re sleeping at night, they are busy working.

In the morning, they’ll be waiting for you.

“They” are…

Marketing “scumbags.”

You are aware of what I’m referring to…

They are the ones who you both love and despise.

Yet they advertise everywhere, from Facebook to Google.

They’ve probably have more success than you, too.

Do you understand why?

Because the numbers don’t give a damn about how you feel.

You might run the best, most morally sound company there is. You might actually be able to “heal the earth.”

But if you don’t have a solid marketing funnel, you’ll lose every time you face off against a 300-kilo marketing giant.

However, things don’t have to be this way.

Find out how much you can spend on marketing and set your revenue targets.

I want to demonstrate to you how you may easily outperform your rivals and get the most of your marketing budget.

I have to go all nerdy now.

You might also despise statistics and analytics. But I’ll try to make things as simple as I can.

And if you continue reading, you’ll learn some ESSENTIAL insights into the reasons why YOUR marketing initiatives may or may not be effective.

So, let’s begin with two illustrations:

Here is an illustration of a typical eCommerce campaign:

Let’s say 1,000 different people come to your website via Facebook, Adwords, or some other method.

1% of these visitors become customers for you. (10 of these people buy).

Your typical customer is worth £50.

Consequently, you earned £500 in total through this campaign.

That’s pretty standard, I guess. You’ll lose money unless your cost per click falls below £0.50, which is unlikely.

Now contrast that with…

A clever campaign for lead generation:

You continue to draw the same 1,000 distinct visitors…

But as a result of offering a free report or similar incentive, your conversion rate increases to 30%.

YES! On a lead generation page, 30% is typical. And all of a sudden, you are in possession of 300 hot leads.

Your sales conversion rate increases to 8–12% as a result of educating your leads, giving them a ton of value, and raising their knowledge of the issue you’re attempting to address.

Meaning that you have now generated THIRTY sales for the same advertising investment, totalling £1,500 in revenue.

That campaign isn’t even optimised yet.

Additional marketing options such as upsells, second upsells, downsells, post-sells, continuity plans, and others are available.

There are several strategies you can use to scale your campaign such that £1,500 becomes £150,000 and make hundreds and thousands more.

But here’s my point: if you have a significant financial objective but lack deep knowledge of your numbers.

HIRING SOMEONE WHO DOES IS A GOOD IDEA.

Because of this, ruthless marketers are succeeding.

They don’t have superior goods to yours. Their customer service is inferior. However, they are aware of the figures.

And look, you have my support. I support moral and ethical business practices.

I won’t work with you if you’re not an ethical customer, period.

But I also think that profit is what drives business, first and foremost.

You can’t pay your employees, market, or make the same influence as you would otherwise if you’re not making a profit.

What then will it be when the months pass by?

Are you going to take your numbers seriously?

Take the necessary steps to grow your company to a new level of profitability.

OR are you going to deny the situation? complain about how less-than-worthy companies are earning more than you… and do no action?

Your business. Your decision.

However, I will always be available for businesses who value both clever marketing and ethical business practises.

If you want my assistance creating a “growth plan” for your business that will enable you to significantly increase sales and profits in the subsequent 90 days or less…
